Your First Visit to Our North Fork Practices

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

When you first come to our office you'll be greeted by our front desk staff, Cathy and Linda, who are terrific at making people feel relaxed and comfortable.  They will answer any questions you might have.

If you haven't already filled out a case history and health information, this will be the first step.

Next, you'll meet the Doctor and you can discuss your particular health concern.  This intial consultation will be followed by a complete chiropractic examination and may include x-rays if necessary.  In total you should reserve approximately  half an hour for your first visit.

Dr Jim Asks some important questions of interest to North Fork residents - Chiropractor North Fork Dr Jim Asks...

Is a muscle spasm a cause or an effect?
With the knee-jerk use of muscle relaxers, you'd think it was a cause. But it's an effect. Chiropractors know that bones don't move unless muscles move them. And muscles don't contract unless commanded by the nervous system. That's why your nervous system is the focus of our North Fork chiropractic practice.
Are aches and pains good or bad?
While aches or pains may be unpleasant, they're merely warning signs. As a North Fork chiropractor, I see this all the time. The pain is not the problem! It just means a limitation has been reached and something needs to change. That's when we get to work correcting the underlying cause.
